Here are some small trees coming up amidst dense canary grass. Eventually these cottonwoods, black willows and various species of native trees that were planted will shade out some of the aggressive canary grass. This area is along Otter Creek in Vermont.

The basic vehicle for this mission is to create biological sanctuaries whether they exist in a natural or urban landscape, this sanctuary functions as a point source for food, habitat, raw materials , medicine, education, tranquility, native plants and countless other resources. "What emanates from the garden is only limited by our imagination."
